The city\u2019s appeal for remote work has surged, moving from 24th to 4th place globally, while its attractiveness to the local workforce has improved significantly, advancing from 16th to 8th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key initiatives like the Dubai Future Foundation have contributed to Dubai\u2019s leading position for future growth potential. This emphasis on fostering innovation and supporting start-ups has solidified Dubai\u2019s status as a top investment destination. The city ranks first globally in investment consideration, second for economic stability, and third for its favorable personal taxation environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andrew Campbell, Managing Director of Brand Finance Middle East, commented on Dubai\u2019s remarkable rise, noting, \u201cDubai\u2019s ascension to the world\u2019s fifth-best city brand is largely due to its achievement of the top global ranking in reputation. This improved perception reflects the UAE government\u2019s strategic investments in infrastructure, tourism, and a supportive business environment. The enhanced metrics around Dubai\u2019s appeal further emphasize its growing status as a prime destination for visitors, residents, businesses, and investors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Brand Finance study, based on feedback from over 15,000 participants across 20 countries, provides a comprehensive analysis of perceptions of the top city brands worldwide. Respondents were asked to evaluate 100 cities on familiarity, reputation, and consideration across various aspects, including living, working, studying, visiting, retirement, and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Abu Dhabi has also shown significant progress, moving up eight spots to reach 24th in overall ranking while holding its 2023 global position at 30. Notably, the city ranks second in investment consideration, an improvement of 12 spots from the previous year, and ninth globally for remote work potential, up 15 spots since 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Abu Dhabi\u2019s attractiveness as a business and innovation hub is reflected in its high scores, including five points in the business and investment pillar. The city is acknowledged for its conducive environment for innovation and start-ups, with impressive growth indicators and a strong presence in science and technology, where it has moved up 16 spots to reach 20th place globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
