Emaar Properties, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), has unveiled a new phase of residential development at Expo City Dubai. The initiative forms part of the ongoing redevelopment of the former Expo 2020 site into a vibrant, sustainable, mixed-use urban destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The newly introduced project, Terra Gardens, marks the second phase of the Expo Living masterplan. It will feature 560 homes, including apartments and townhouses. The larger vision encompasses five residential clusters with a combined total of 3,555 units, complemented by commercial, retail, and leisure facilities centred around Expo Mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Emaar, this launch follows the success of Terra Heights, the first phase of the masterplan, and highlights the strong demand for modern housing across Dubai\u2019s expanding urban areas. The development is being executed in partnership with DWTC, a key stakeholder in repurposing Expo City into a long-term destination for business, living, and entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith the introduction of Terra Gardens, we are advancing the vision of Expo Living as a forward-thinking, sustainable, and well-connected community,\u201d stated Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Director of Emaar Properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Set across more than 450,000 square metres, the Expo Living neighbourhood will offer green open spaces, landscaped courtyards, dedicated jogging and cycling tracks, as well as health and wellness amenities. Residents will also enjoy close access to Expo City\u2019s cultural landmarks and commercial hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entire project is designed in alignment with Dubai\u2019s 2040 Urban Master Plan, which emphasises sustainability, the creation of vibrant public spaces, and the development of communities that promote easy access to public transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DWTC\u2019s Vice President of Real Estate Development, Amer Al Farsi, noted that the new phase marks \u201ca pivotal step in shaping the future of Expo City Dubai,\u201d integrating residential, commercial, and retail components within a cohesive masterplan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This collaboration further strengthens Emaar\u2019s presence within Expo City, reinforcing its position as a strategic partner in the city\u2019s post-Expo evolution. The redevelopment initiative continues to transform the district into a hub for innovation, sustainability, and contemporary urban living, supporting Dubai\u2019s long-term growth vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
